Advantages of ISM at a glance: Unlike many other chargers, a Battery Tender never cuts of. First your battery will be charged up to the maximum of 14,4V. As soon as the charger recognizes that the battery is fully charged (accepts less then 100mA), it switches into maintain mode. In order to supply possible appliances, the Battery Tender will now deliver 13,2V until ISM recognizes that a charge is again necessary. Your vehicle will start with 100% of the battery's capacity at all times!
